THE STORY BEHIND THE NAME

The name Studio at Cana is inspired by John 2:1-11, the story of the wedding feast at Cana—where Jesus performed His first miracle, turning water into wine. This moment not only marked the beginning of His ministry but ultimately served to bring Him glory.

So, how does this connect to design?

From the start, I knew I wanted my business to be more than just a design studio. I wanted it to be a space for meaningful connections—a place where I could build genuine friendships with my clients and foster community among fellow designers.

I’m also deeply drawn to the wedding industry. Wedding photographers and planners are some of my dream clients, and it feels beautifully fitting that this pivotal story in the Bible takes place at a wedding.

Studio at Cana is a constant reminder of my business’s purpose: to create with intention, to serve others, and ultimately, to glorify God.

Hey hey! I’m the designer behind the Studio at Cana. I like to say I’ve been in the world of design forever but professionally for over 5 years.

I love coffee, sewing, knitting, being outdoors, the ocean, the mountains, thrifting, and pretty much anything crafty.

My genius zone shines when I get to work with creative souls who value intentional design. I love working with wedding professionals (photographer & planners especially!), small boutique businesses, and anyone who feels aligned with my design style.
